200+ pages and over 60 recipes plus a ton of extra information and guides.
I’m no good at talking about myself, so here is something from my publisher:
From the pindan red beaches of the Kimberley’s west coast, Harry Fisher has been steadily cementing his reputation with a pair of tongs around the campfire. Combining his passion for the Aussie bush and great food, he’s made it his mission to prove that camp cooking doesn’t have to be dull cooking.
His campfire cooking and distinct approach to recipe creations is simple and summed by his personal brand – Fire To Fork. His meals are simple enough for any enthusiastic bush cook to prepare, but his focus on fewer, but higher quality ingredients and techniques he’s learned from his mother, a chef, sets him apart in the camp cooking world. He’s often called on to develop campfire recipes for corporate clients. Fire to Fork has amassed millions of views YouTube and tens of thousands of followers on Instagram. As a result, Harry is becoming the most popular authority on bush cooking; not just in Australia, but everywhere good food and campfires are combined.
Now, he’s putting all that passion into his first Fire to Fork cookbook which will be published in 2021 by Exploring Eden Media. Harry said, “If you had told me 10 years ago when I graduated uni with a commerce degree that I would give it all up to write a Fire to Fork cookbook, I would never have believed you. But here we are and I have never been more excited or terrified about anything I have undertaken.”
Melissa Connell, co-founder of Exploring Eden Media said, “As keen travellers and campers ourselves, we’ve been enjoying Harry’s recipes since he first caught our attention online with his amazing campfire cook-ups and scenic Kimberley backdrops. We’re really excited to be producing his first cookbook. Harry offers amazing down-to-earth recipes and tips which are practical, tasty and fun.”
Harry’s book is expected to go on sale in May 2021 and will feature over 60 of his own recipes, including favourites from his YouTube series plus plenty of new, unpublished feeds. Harry will be sharing his knowledge on fire preparation, essential tools of the camp kitchen and tips on stocking the pantry for time away from civilisation. Expect everything from hearty camp oven meals to campfire-inspired cocktails to enjoy under the stars.

Harry is a messiah of meat. A guru of grilling. The holy father of flame. A mad scientist of fire-cooking who is spreading his gospel far and wide in this fantastic book. Courts in America now use this book, instead of the Bible, to swear in witnesses. Well done, sir. Well done! But really medium or medium rare would also do. Thank you for keeping the faith. As Exodus 12:9 says “Do not eat any of it raw or boiled, cooked in water, but roast it over the fire…” Words to live by, I reckon. Good work, Harry!

What a fantastic book to take away camping! Beautiful photographs and recipes that are actually achievable while cooking over fire. I even tried a few at home first using the devils fuel (gas) before attempting them over the fire.
You can tell Harry’s put a lot of effort into this and it does not disappoint.

Fantastic cook book with great recipes to cook over fire. The fire wraps have become a regular for us! So far I’ve cooked about 10 recipes from this during lockdown in my backyard. One of the best bits is the intro and how Harry explains his setup and his mobile pantry. There are tips and tricks throughout that have changed how I think about meal prep and cooking.
